design and branding for social media
Coronavirus Visualization Team
Below is the social media design work I completed for the Coronavirus Visualization Team and their multiple branches of social media accounts utilizing my proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. While designing for CVT, I had to adhere to the organization's design preferences and branding guidelines such as their fonts and color palettes.
These flyers I designed showcased panelists for CVT's Panel to the People initiative. Panel to the People allowed groups of individuals to have conversations that were worth sharing during the pandemic. Following guidelines from the CVT founder, executive director and other members of the design team, I reached these final designs used to promote the panels. These flyers were posted on Panel to the People's and CVT's Instagram accounts.
For Panel to the People, I also created these carousel Instagram posts. Users swipe on a single Instagram posts to reveal multiple photos showcasing information. These types of posts broke down the information on the bigger flyer into more digestible visual units for the viewer. This also allowed for extended bios of panelists and creative design work, such as the continuation of the green lines which visually connected the images in the second carousel post.
Generation Ratify
I volunteered as a designer for Orlando's Generation Ratify chapter over the summer. I designed the flyer to the left for distribution in the community and used ProCreate on the iPad to design social media announcements. Adhering to the organization's color scheme, green and purple, creating consistent designs became important for branding purposes. I needed to follow their branding guidelines because I was designing for their social media specifically and their feed had a pre-established look that I needed to maintain.

Boone Publications
In addition, I designed social media posts for @boonepubs, Boone Publication's Instagram account. To the right is a flyer I designed to seek applicants for the following year's staff. I used the Boone Publication logo and that year's fonts to establish branding and create cohesiveness with our website. Below, I used the logo in a similar way, establishing recognition. I created this carousel post to announce the new editors for the 2020-2021 staff on social media. It was exciting for everyone involved because we were welcoming them to their new leadership positions on staff. It's also a fun way for students to engage because when they see their friends, they are more inclined to comment and interact with the post.
